What Is In Your Hand?

Hello friend, welcome again to our blog. Today we will be considering a very important topic titled What Is In Your Hand?

Our anchor scripture is Exodus 4:1,2. It reads [And Moses Answered And Said, But, Behold, They Will Not Believe Me, Nor Hearken Unto My Voice: For They Will Say, The Lord Hath Not Appeared Unto Thee.

V2: And The Lord Said Unto Him, What Is That In Thine Hand? And He Said, A Rod]

According to our opening verse, we see Moses having a dialogue with the Almighty because he was to be sent to deliver the children of Israel from slavery in the land of Egypt. Moses who thought he didn't have enough qualifications for the assignment, presented his case on why this wouldn't work out.

Many a times most of us are like Moses. We do not know the potentials we possess and even if someone tries to point it out, doubt and fear gets the better of us and accepting the knowledge becomes a mountainous task. We feel or think what we have is not enough for us to make impact in our world. We do not know the value of what we have until God himself in his infinite mercies points it out and open our eyes to see.

Dear friend, if you're in the state that Moses was, thinking you aren't qualified to make an impact in today's world, then, the Almighty's response in verse two is for you today. That is, "What Is Your Hand"

Listen;  there's track record in scriptures where God uses some things to solve complex problems [ 2 kings 4:1-7, Acts 3:5,6, Zechariah 4:10

In 2Corinthians 11:3 Scripture talks about the simplicity that is in Christ. See, even teachings of Jesus Christ that transforms lives is very simply. Just believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, he died for your sins and rose again for your justification. That's all and you shall be saved (adopted into the family of the Almighty God). How simple can that be.

Sometimes we limit what we already have in our hand and gobin search of something else but, the truth is, it is that simple thing we already have in our hand that will catapult us to greatness.

Somebody said "what you have but don't know how to us is what is limiting you; not what you don't have"

If you must do great things in life, then, you need to start looking inwards. Ask yourself, what do I have? And believe me, you have have something. The problem sometimes is, you're focussing on your weaknesses instead of your strength. 

Note: everyone has one weakness or the other. The thing about those that made impact is that, they concentrated more on the strengths and worked on that. Today you are celebrating them.

There's this guy that used to not do well in class back in secondary school. Today, this guy is rich and driving his own car. What happened to him? After secondary school, instead of looking down on himself because he didn't do well in class, he went to learn a trade and today, his line of trade has exploded. 

Think of it this way: what if that guy just focused on low IQ, will he be where he is today? You know the answer

Friend, there's is something already in your hand.

We sometime think this is what we want, but, God is saying this is what you need. 

In conclusion dear friend, please, know that there is something in your hand that can shoot you to limelight. 

Capital is not your limitation. 

First find out what you have, and what can be done with it

Remember; if you stay with God, you will come out with a testimony.
